Dr. Michael Lewis
Lead Pastor
Michael has the joy of serving as Lead Pastor of SALT Church, where he began in 2022. He loves helping people know Jesus personally and walk with Him daily. His heart is simple—to see people love God deeply, love people genuinely, and live on mission right where they are.
Michael and his wife, Liliana, a native of Mexico City, love doing life and ministry together. They have three daughters—Charity, Faith, and Hope—and three grandchildren who bring them great joy. For Michael, some of the best moments in life happen around the table with family and friends.
Originally from Savannah, Georgia, Michael began pastoring at the age of 21 and has served churches across the Southeast and Texas. He studied at Columbia International University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and received a doctorate from Liberty University.
Along the way, God has also given him a passion to care for pastors and ministry leaders. He previously served with the North American Mission Board, supporting thousands of pastors and their families, and continues that work today through mentoring and marriage retreats with Liliana.
At his core, Michael is a shepherd. He desires to walk with people through real life and point them to the hope, healing, and purpose found in Jesus.

Eric Williams
Family Ministries and Operations
Eric serves at SALT Church with a passion for developing people, strengthening families, and helping ministries thrive. Whether investing in the next generation through family ministry or supporting the church through administration and leadership, he loves helping people take their next step in following Jesus. Eric is especially passionate about building healthy teams, equipping volunteers, and creating systems that allow ministry to flourish for years to come.
Eric and his wife, Vicki, are actively involved in the life and ministry of SALT Church and are raising their four children—Charlie, Lucas, Anderson, and Gigi. Their family has a deep love for fostering and adoption and is passionate about serving vulnerable children and families. Together, they actively serve at-risk families through CarePortal and are committed to helping the local church be the hands and feet of Jesus in their community. Vicki also faithfully serves at Sarasota Preschool, helping invest in and care for young children and their families each day.
As a family, they enjoy serving together and investing in the next generation. Their greatest desire is to see people come to know Christ, grow in their faith, and discover God's purpose for their lives.

Trevor Wicken
Discipleship and Groups
Trevor joined the SALT Church family with a passion for discipleship, leadership development, and helping people take their next step in following Jesus. With more than 16 years of ministry experience and a career dedicated to building and leading teams, he believes that healthy systems should ultimately help people grow into mature followers of Christ and leaders who develop others.
Holding a Master's Degree from William Tennent School of Theology with an emphasis in Applied Theology and Discipleship, Trevor has served in youth ministry, men's ministry, leadership development, church planting, and new believer discipleship. He is passionate about creating clear pathways that help people move from being discipled to discipling others.
Trevor and his wife, Misty, serve together in a variety of ministry areas at SALT Church. They are blessed with three daughters—Ila, Danika, and Brielle—who are often found serving alongside them. As a family, they love investing in people and helping others discover their place in the life and mission of the church.
