This is the day the Lord has made in beautiful Sarasota! NOW IS THE TIME! Are you looking forward to singing praises to His name and responding to His Word? Let’s prayerfully reflect on Malachi chapter 4. This is the last chapter of the book and last sermon text of NOW IS THE TIME sermon series.
Let’s ZERO INTO V. 2 – “But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings, and you will go out and playfully jump like calves from the stall.”
PRAY – “Heavenly Father, I worship Your Son as “the Sun of righteousness risen with healing in His wings” and I bring this area of my life that I desire His healing ________________________________________________. Heal me and I will be healed. I give everything and everyone to You, for I humbly pray in the name of Jesus, Amen!”
Pause quietly before the Lord as He reminds you what life would have been without Him. Ask Him to remind you of His grace and how the Lord brought you back, made things right, and restored you.
Now, with a partner or small group, “rejoice” together in your having received reconciliation. The Lord smiles when He sees His people living out His Book, experiencing the Scriptures...and in this, we find peace and confident hope.

- Cultivate a heart of fear of the Lord i.e. a healthy and honorable respect for the Lord’s name. PRAY - “Lord, one aspect about You I honor is _____________________.”
- “The Sun of righteousness” – refers to JESUS, the coming Messiah. He “rises (resurrection) with healing in His wings” – speaks of the power of salvation, not only saving our souls from sin but healing our souls of pain and hurt.
- Consider areas of your life where you desire greater healing – regrets of the past, unhealed hurts, fears, or anxieties of the future.
