Let’s prayerfully read Exodus chapter 3. This is an epic section of God’s story. As
you read, highlight text that stands out to you.
Let’s Zoom into Vs. 11, 12 - Moses asked God, “Who am I that I should go to
Pharaoh and that I should bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” The LORD answered,
“I will certainly be with you, and this will be the sign to you that I am the one who
sent you: when you bring the people out of Egypt, you will all worship God at this
mountain.”
Pause & Reflect – Have you ever felt inadequate in a task God has called you to
do for Him? (Maybe being a witness to your neighbors… being a Christian
parent… being a disciple-maker?) As the Lord calls you to live ‘beyond possible’
by faith in Him, receive His promise being personally spoken to you – “I will
certainly be with you… I am the One who sending you…”
What does God’s promise of His presence do to your heart? Express your heart to
Him – “Abba Father, I confess my sense of inadequacy in things You call me to do. I
believe in Your promise that You will be with me wherever I go and whatever
challenge I face. By faith, I ask You to go with me as I face __________________________________, for I humbly pray in Jesus’ name,
Amen!”
