- Vs. 11, 12 – our protection from the evil one.
- V. 13 – our emotions of joy to increase – “Now I am coming to you… that they may have my joy completed in them.”
- Vs. 17 – for our sanctification – “Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.” He is praying us to be set apart from common things for His special use.
- Vs. 21 – 23 – for our relational closeness. Could any of your relationships benefit from ‘oneness?’
- Vs. 18 – for us to live missionally as a witness of His love and light – “As you sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.”
