Let’s read Proverbs chapter 31 using the H.E.A.R. method:
H- highlight several verses that stand out to you.
E – explain the verse(s) in your own words of what God is saying to you.
A – apply the verse to your life.
R – respond in prayer by writing your heart to God.
What kind of spouse would you desire for your child to marry? This chapter is a mother’s words to her son who would be king of the type of woman she desires for him to marry.
Let’s zoom in to V. 10 – “Who can find a wife of noble character? She is far more precious than jewels.” Then she goes on to describe the ideal wife for her son to one day marry..
Pray for your children and their future spouses. Ask the Lord specifically to form your child into becoming a spouse of integrity and virtue. Pray for his/ her future marriage that it will be ordained by the Lord. Pray like it matters, because it does!
